Plugin details

Get the number of hours between the browser local time and UTC.  Initialize any whole date to a specific time of day.   Uses javascript and does not rely on external APIs. Great for booking, scheduling & working with APIs.
Bubble's built-in timezone tools do not cover every situation. This plugin is to help. Its a simple way to manipulate timezones and whole dates.

CHANGE FROM LOCAL TIME TO UTC (and back)
Keep the same time of day - easily change 1/1/2019 21:00 EST to 1/1/2019 21:00 UTC by adding the number of UTC offset hours rather simply changing the way the time zone is displayed.

DISPLAY DATES & TIMES CORRECTLY IN ANY ELEMENT
One limitation in bubble is that certain elements such as datepickers can only display dates/time in the user's current timezone. You cannot display a single timezone for all users as a the value inside the picker. This plugin easily allows for that.

INITIALIZE WHOLE DATES TO A CERTAIN TIME OF DAY
If you enter a date into a date-only datepicker, bubble will set the date/time you've selected using current time of day.  This plugin can take any date and apply a preset time of day you choose (in the users current timezone or UTC, etc)

Page elements

1)  UTC Time
This page elements works with the browser date/time and UTC date/time.  It runs once on page load and returns several values.
a) The number of hours difference between the current timezone and UTC timezone (offset number).
b) Returns a new date/time which matches the current timezone's date/time, but in the UTC.  (i.e. 3AM Eastern becomes 3AM UTC)

2)  Time of Day
This page element takes a date input and sets the hours of that date input to a new value that you define.  Good for using with date pickers, which will always use the local timezone when a date is selected or you may want to set a different time of day.

Very Good Plugin
November 17th, 2023
This plugin works very well. I wish you could use it with backend workflows. Would be really usefull if you could give dynamically give it a timezone ID and have it calculate the UTC offsettime in the backend so that you can add the offset to a value.
This makes my life easy! Thank you!

Glitch with time, set hour offset to one month away
March 1st, 2022
Exact workflow that glitched. Todays date is February 28 Page load -> set state current date and time Settimeofday element settings: date_in: Current date and time offset: 19 I then created a DB entry using the settimeofday datetime out(utc) and the result was Mar 28,2022
